5th Grade Supplies

*Note: I do not supply paper or pencils in class.  Students must start taking responsibility for being prepared.  This list covers supplies for the year.  Do not bring all of these things to school at once.  Only bring what you need for the week, and leave the rest at home to replenish your supplies.

Copy Paper! Copy Paper! Copy Paper!

Pencils, tons of them! (mechanical preferred)

Erasers: Hand held or pencil tops

Hand held pencil sharpener (no noisy ones)

Lined Paper: 2-3 packages (500-1000)

Binder: 1½-2 inch ring with dividers.

Calculator: Scientific works best.                 Scissors                                    Glue Sticks

Pens

• Black or Blue Ballpoint

• Yellow Highlighter

• Dry Erase Marker

Ruler with Inches and Centimeters

USB Flash Drive - This is an important piece of equipment, as students will use them to store and transport their computer files. They can be purchased at any electronics or office supply store for as little as $10. Any storage size will work. Supplies the class can use:

• Box of Kleenex (Winter Colds and Spring Allergies)

• Clorox Disinfectant Wipes ( Clean Desktops and Prevent Germs from spreading) Swine Flu is a reality.

• Computer Paper  ( With Accelerated Math we can go through up to 500 pages in a day)

• Board Games (New or Old.  My games have been lost or ruined)

• Any AR books for the class library.
