Welcome to the Nelsen Newsmakers

Welcome to the Nelsen Newsmakers

Hello parents and students!  Welcome to our 3rd grade GATE class.  We have had a wonderful first two weeks with lots of lively conversation.  I will be providing lots of information on our class policies and procedures during Back to School Night.  If you are unable to attend, please contact me so that I can make sure you receive the written materials I'll be handing out.
I will be updating this page and will provide an overview of my expectations.  I'm a believer in consistent routine, so homework expectations will be clear and posted here.  We have exciting on-line programs that I'll introduce you to so your children can be up on the skills they will need.  Presently, we are developing class routines and I am getting to know your children.  It's going to be a great year and I am excited to get started!
